Ray Cluley: Horror Laureate

I like the sounds of that.  Would it be wrong to get a name badge made along those lines?  Can I use it when I fill in forms?

Here’s an extract from DF Lewis’s review of Black Static 37 concerning my story, ‘Bones of Crow’…

“I first read Ted Hughes in the mid 1960s, I think; I first read Ray Cluley a few years ago, and I have read a lot more since then mainly hatched from the TTA Eyrie. One became poet laureate, the other, I confidently predict, horror laureate, judging by this Max Ernst-
William Blake hybridisation for modern times.”

It’s a generous comment, but it’s made my 2014 already.  🙂

Thanks, Mr Lewis.
